Bazaar

So they set up this bazaar on base so that we can have a chance to buy local stuff. A Bazaar is basically a market. They have local vendors come and set up their shops. It's neat to see the stuff that they offer. There's a lot of scarves that everyone talks about. You can get Kashmir and Pashmina. There are some really nice ones. I've bought a few to send home. And there are guys that set up little rug shops. Most of the rugs are Persian. Some are hand made, but most are machine made. As well you have an assortment of jewelers, clothing, and nick-nacks. They set this up fairly often, and you would think that people would stop finding things to spend their money one, but every week these things are packed. People always find something to spend their money on.
